Shrimp Fried Rice
Ingredients
- Shrimp
- Sesame oil
- Soy sauce
- White pepper
- Oyster sauce
- Salt
- Baking soda
- Onions
- Green onions
- Garlic
- Carrots
- Corn
- Broccoli
- Eggs
Method
- Marinate shrimp with sesame oil, some salt, and a bit of baking soda.
- Cut the tail if necessary.
- Mix around the shrimp and put it to the side.
- Chop up onions, green onions, garlic.
- Mix up some veggies, carrots, corn, broccoli.
- Add in some oil, cook the shrimp first until pink on the edges. Sauté until fully pink.
- Take out shrimp and put it to the side.
- Crack in a few eggs, scramble in the wok.
- Add eggs to the side, add in onions, green onions, and garlic.
- Leave it split in the pan and cook them.
- Once onions are turning translucent, add in the veggies.
- Bring in the rice and make sure it is not clumped (break it up).
- Add in soy sauce, oyster sauce, and white pepper.
- Sauté aggressively!
- Add your shrimp back in once it’s sautéd, and add in some sesame oil.
- Plate up and add some green onions.
